Jiso Yoon​

    Jiso Yoon is Director of Center for International Development and Cooperation at Korean Women’s Development Institute (KWDI). She received Ph.D. in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University (USA). Prior to joining KWDI, she held academic positions at Ochanomizu University (Japan), and the University of Kansas (USA). She has published widely on women’s political representation, gender and development assistance, and feminist international relations. In 2023, she led a research project evaluating the implementation of South Korea’s 1325 NAP and suggesting ways to aadvance the women, peace, and security agenda in the future through the 1325 NAP—a research project commissioned by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (MOGEF) in South Korea.
