Alina-Ştefania Gorghiu is the Minister of Justice of Romania. She was previously President ad interim of the Senate of Romania, served for 4 years as Vice President of the Senate, while also being active in Parliamentary committees such as the Committee for Foreign Policy, for Culture, for Judiciary. She has two consecutive mandates as Depute in the Chamber of Deputies and two mandates in the superior chamber of the Romanian Parliament. She is a lawyer with a Phd. in criminal law and an advocate for women’s equal representation in politics.
