Overall, Gaelle has worked for the United Nations for 18 years, including 16 years with UN Women and two years with OHCHR. For the past eight years, she has provided policy and programmatic support to UN Women Country Offices in Asia and the Pacific on Women, Peace and Security (WPS) with an increased focus on Cybersecurity. She has also managed regional programmes aimed at enhancing women’s roles in law enforcement and border security to prevent transnational organized crime and violent extremism in Southeast Asia and advancing women’s access to justice.

Gaelle also took on leadership roles, acting consecutively as the Head of Office for the UN Women Philippine Programme Presence Office and as the Acting Country Representative for the UN Women Viet Nam Office. Before these roles, she was stationed in Morocco, Cameroon, and Senegal, where she worked on a broad spectrum of issues, including Gender-Responsive Budgeting, Women's Human Rights, Women's Economic Empowerment, and Women's Political Participation.
