Jiso Yoon

Jiso Yoon currently serves as Director of the Center for International Cooperation at the Korean Women’s Development Institute (KWDI). She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Pennsylvania State University and previously held academic positions in the United States and Japan.

Dr. Yoon has provided expert advisory support to the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in advancing gender-responsive official development assistance (ODA) and international gender policy. Her areas of specialization include feminist policy frameworks, the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda, and multilateral gender cooperation. She also has extensive experience engaging with partners such as the OECD, APEC, and UN Women.
