Mona Demaidi

Mona Nabil Demaidi is an AI expert, entrepreneur, and academic leader. She is the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and Director of International Relations at Arab American University, where she spearheads AI integration across education, research, and innovation.

She is the architect of Palestine’s Artificial Intelligence National Strategy, UNESCO’s AI & Ethics Policy for Palestine and policy of AI in higher education. Beyond academia, she chairs the Intersect Innovation Hub (powered by Bank of Palestine) and is the Founder and CEO of STEMpire, a company advancing AI and entrepreneurship ecosystems. Recognized globally for her impact, she was named among the 100 Brilliant Women in AI & Ethics and the 100 Brilliant Women of Davos in AI.
