Her research centers on leveraging advanced quantitative methods and machine learning to study and predict armed conflicts and their societal impacts, as well as investigating how climate extremes and violence interact to increase vulnerability and affect human development. She has expertise in applying machine learning for theory testing, studying uncertainty in conflict data, and advancing conflict forecasting.
