Soyeon Shin is the Humanitarian Affairs Advisor at the ICRC Seoul Mission, with about 18 years of experience in development cooperation and humanitarian affairs across the public and private sectors. At the ICRC, she leads policy engagement with the Korean government on peace and security, techplomacy, and the protection of civilians, and coordinates the partnership under the Humanitarian–Development–Peace Nexus. Before joining the ICRC, she served at the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), holding leadership positions in Tanzania and Kenya.
